If you like bananas, do yourself a favor and whip up some banana simple syrup. Then, on a daily basis, pop open the lid and take a whiff — just a beautiful scent. I’ve been surprised how few cocktails I can find that use it, however. So I’ve been cutting a few corners here and there — here is “Anna’s Banana” which usually goes as a boozie slushy. So this was good and was very close to being awesome — it was a little too sweet and “banana-ey” so next time I make this I’ll probably cut the banana down to an ounce.
